We’re here to support the Elk Valley with dependable plumbing, heating, and mechanical solutions, from everyday repairs to full construction projects. Our mission is simple, do solid work, communicate clearly, and treat every home like it’s our own. We stand by our work and believe in using high‑quality materials. We care about the experience as much as the finished product, making sure every job feels professional, respectful, and done right.
Our Story
Originally from Calgary, I always had a pull toward the mountains. I spent years hiking, fishing, biking, and camping in the backcountry, but it never felt close enough. Moving to the Elk Valley wasn’t part of a grand plan, it was the natural result of following opportunities as they came. Before long, I realized this was exactly where I wanted to be, surrounded by the mountains and a community that values the same lifestyle I do.
I began my Red Seal Plumbing and Class B Gasfitting certification in Calgary, working for a small company focused on custom homes and service work. The variety of projects gave me the opportunity to build a diverse skill set, work on many different systems and installations, and develop strong problem-solving skills through hands-on experience in the field. I became known for my work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to think outside the box to find practical solutions, values I carried with me when I moved to Fernie to complete my certification.
Since landing in the Elk Valley, I’ve appreciated the chance to immerse myself in a tight-knit community and build a life here. In a community like this, relationships matter, and that’s the approach we bring to Tamarack Mechanical. We want every service call and installation to feel personal, honest, and tailored to your home, not rushed or one-size-fits-all.
